Four persons, who had gone missing in a landslide at Pairebesi in Uttargaya Rural Municipality-4 of Rasuwa district on Sunday night, have been found dead.
Dharma Bahadur Thapa Magar, 75, was found dead at around 11 pm the same day while the bodies of Dharma Bahadur’s daughter-in-law Muna, four-year-old son Rabin, and Bhakta Bahadur Nagarkoti, 80, were recovered on Monday evening, Shreenath Battalion informed.
All the bodies have been handed over to their family members in the presence of local representatives.
Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, Nepal Army personnel were deployed to search them.
The landslide had destroyed 15 houses. The landslide victims have been moved to a new building of Upper Trishuli-3 ‘A’.
As many as 21 houses are at high risk of landslide in Pairebesi, it has been learnt.
Likewise, 40 houses of Kuwapani Village are also at high risk of landslip.
The local administration has distributed food products, blankets and cooking utensils worth Rs 10,000 to each household.
