Voters are being lured with booze, meat and money: Dahal

Sep 11, 2017-CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that some old and new Madhesi Parties are influencing the voters with money for the third phase of local level elections slated for September 18.
Speaking to journalists in Sindhuligadhi on Monday, Chairman Dahal said that he has received the information that some parties are distributing alcohol, money and meat in the district to influence the voters.
Saying that he has been staying in the Madhes for the past two weeks, the Maoist chairman claimed that his party would emerge as the largest force in the third phase local elections.
More ever, he claimed that booths would not be captured under any circumstances in the upcoming elections this time.
Saying that election fever has gripped Tarai more than Hills, he said that the voters of Madhes are excited to cast their votes.
